With Active Sense Control, Wacker Neuson is setting new standards in the safety of dumpers. The innovative system is based on intelligent object detection and can be optionally supplemented with an automatic braking assistant system, which intervenes when collisions are imminent, even until the machine comes to a standstill, if necessary.

This protects, both, the operator as well as persons in direct vicinity—an important aspect, especially when application is on chaotic construction sites.

The technology is integrated directly into the machine and continuously processes important vehicle data like speed, steering angle, incline, and direction of travel. If the system detects a possible collision, it warns the operator visually and acoustically. If equipped, the braking assistant intervenes and brings the machine to a standstill in an emergency situation—reliable even in case of poor visibility, rain, or strong sunlight.

A 3-stage warning system (green, yellow, red) informs the operator of the distance to the object. 

The plus of Active Sense Control: Typical everyday work situations like loading an excavator, unloading on a hill, parking, or trailer operation are detected automatically, so that the system does not interfere and the work process on the construction site continues smoothly.

Active Sense Control is available for all Wacker Neuson dumpers starting from a payload of 5 tons. It makes construction sites noticeably safer and supports efficient sequence of operations in daily application.
