At the end of 2019, especially low-noise construction machines and units were needed for a night job site in Copenhagen’s pedestrian zone. When new cables were laid, nearly all the zero emission family by Wacker Neuson was used: from the battery-powered vibratory rammer to the electric wheel loader all the way to the mini-excavator EZ17e.
With the Compamatic solution, Wacker Neuson connects its time-tested and proven compaction control with a Telematics solution. Compamatic is now also available for the heavy-duty reversible and some of the heavy-duty remote-controlled vibratory plates.
The first fully electric, battery-powered mini-excavator from Wacker Neuson, EZ17e, performs and handles just like a diesel-powered model. For this innovative development, the jury of the SaMoTer Innovation Award 2020 awarded the electric mini-excavator with the Innovation Award in the category hydraulic mini-excavators.
New standards in terms of operator and construction site safety, flexibility and cost effectiveness are set by the Dual View wheel dumpers from Wacker Neuson with payloads of six to ten tons. Dual View allows the operator to conveniently and quickly change the seat position through a 180-degree rotation of the entire operator control panel and the seat console. This always gives the operator a perfect view in the direction of travel – during transport, loading and dumping.
Wacker Neuson Group and Randon Group have entered into a cooperation for the manufacture of backhoe loaders in Randon’s factory located in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. Wacker Neuson will realize the commercialization and sales via its dealer network, focusing on the region of Latin America.
