MHE-Demag, manufacturer of cranes, hoists, warehousing equipment, car parking systems and other material handling equipment, distributes its products through more than 60 sales and service locations in the ASEAN region. The recently announced collaboration will enable Wacker Neuson to further expand its brand presence and product availability in the region. “With our portfolio in the field of compact construction machines, we are offering an interesting addition to MHE-Demag's existing range of products and can strengthen our presence in the region. We will benefit from the dense and well-established sales and service network that MHE-Demag has in Southeast Asia,” says Alexander Greschner, CSO and Member of the Executive Board of Wacker Neuson SE.

In addition to tracked and wheeled excavators, Wacker Neuson's telehandlers, wheel loaders and wheel dumpers were presented at a launch event in Manila, Philippines at the beginning of December. “With success,” as Alexander Greschner reports. “The feedback from dealers and end customers was consistently positive. We expect that our partnership will develop successfully – because we have similar values, especially in terms of the quality and reliability of products and services.” Wacker Neuson's products meet the local needs of the market for compact and efficient construction machines. “The construction industry, real estate and agriculture sectors will continue to grow. This offers both MHE-Demag and Wacker Neuson many opportunities,” said Marc von Grabowski, President of MHE-Demag Inc. “In addition, investment in infrastructure development is a priority for the Philippine government.”

Since December 2017, MHE-Demag has been offering its customers compact construction machines from Wacker Neuson for purchase and rental, which are easy to transport and require little space on the construction site. Customers particularly appreciate the high quality of the machines. In addition, more than 700 service technicians and engineers and 300 service vehicles in the region ensure fast, local service and easy procurement of spare parts.

MHE-Demag, a joint venture between Jebsen & Jessen (SEA) and Demag Cranes and Components GmbH, has been an expert in the manufacture and sale of cranes, trucks, storage equipment and the maintenance of buildings since 1972. Headquartered in Singapore, the company has eleven production facilities and 63 strategically located offices throughout the ASEAN region.
