Finely differentiated product range from the inventor of the rammer

The first electric rammer was invented in 1930 by Hermann Wacker­ and helped to revolutionize an entire industry. Until today Wacker­ Neuson is still a leader in compaction and about half of all rammers that are used on construction sites around the world originate from Wacker ­Neuson.

As an innovation and technology leader in the field of compaction technology, Wacker­ Neuson has proven the claim of constantly improving customer processes through products and services while taking practical requirements into account. This is shown by the comprehensive rammer series that offers the right model for every application.

The two-cycle rammers of the i-series have two separate tanks for fuel and two-cycle oil. This means no pre-mixing is necessary, which saves time in applications and ensures the most efficient fuel-oil ratio at all times.

The 4-cycle rammers by Wacker Neuson are characterized by their compact design and an excellent performance. The 4-cycle rammers are also available with a Honda engine. The diesel rammer by Wacker Neuson is suitable for the compaction of cohesive, mixed and granular (non-cohesive) soils and is particularly fuel-efficient in the process.

The right models for every application

Wacker Neuson is the only manufacturer on the market to offer the gasoline vibratory rammer with a 2-cycle engine. The two-cycle rammers are driven by a Wacker Neuson-developed WM 80 engine, which is outfitted with a catalytic converter and falls well below all current emission limits and those known for the future.

Battery-powered rammers AS50e and AS30e – working completely emission-free

The battery-powered rammers AS30e and AS50e can be used for compaction work without exhaust gas emissions and in doing so have a capacity equal to gasoline vibratory rammers in the same class. The battery-powered rammers convince

through significantly lower operating costs than a rammer with a combustion engine, a lack of exhaust gas emissions and significantly reduced noise emissions as well as lower hand-arm vibrations, which are achieved through a new handle spring mounting.

The battery is removable and can be charged using a battery charger on standard plug receptacles. Batteries and battery chargers are designed so that they can be used independently of the model.
