Dr. Georg Sick, CEO and President of Wacker Neuson SE, has informed the Supervisory Board that he will not be seeking to renew his contract once it expires on July 31 of this year. At the request of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Sick has agreed to continue as CEO until the end of the calendar year. Dr. Sick has been a member of Group management for 15 years. Following the conversion to a stock corporation (AG) in 2002, Dr. Sick was initially responsible for development and production on the Board, moving on to become CEO and President in 2005. Dr. Sick intends to pursue new business opportunities. The company will be looking for an external successor.

Trend confirmed – Q2 revenue up on first quarter and same quarter last year – Order intake has positive impact on capacity utilization
According to provisional figures, the Wacker Neuson Group managed as expected to increase Q2 revenue relative to both the first quarter of the current fiscal year and the same quarter last year and post positive earnings once again. In addition, the Group reports a healthy revival of order intake. Order backlog for compact equipment at the end of June 2010 was 350 percent higher than the corresponding figure for the same period last year.

Wacker Neuson SE placed first in the category “Equipment, Machinery & Instruments” in the 2009 LACP Award Competition for Annual Reports. With a score of 98 out of 100 Wacker Neuson’s Annual Report received a platinum award putting it ahead of Deutz AG (97) and Rational AG (96). Wacker Neuson received special recognition for the initial visual impact of the report, effective communication, the letter to its shareholders and message clarity. From a total of more than 4.000 submissions considering all categories, Wacker Neuson took place 55 among the top 100.

Wacker Neuson to develop and produce exclusively Caterpillar branded mini hydraulic excavators.
The relevant executive bodies of Wacker Neuson SE, Munich, Germany and Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, USA have signed an agreement regarding the design, manufacture, distribution and support of Caterpillar mini excavators up to 3 tons. The aim of the cooperation is that the two parties form a long-term strategic alliance.

28 - Mai - 2010 Wacker Neuson Supervisory Board re-elected
Wacker Neuson SE shareholders voted at today’s AGM to carry forward the profit for fiscal 2009 in full. Executive and Supervisory Board members’ actions were duly approved for fiscal 2009. The incumbent shareholder representatives were re-elected to the Supervisory Board. The incumbent employee representatives had already been re-appointed to the Supervisory Board.
12 - Mai - 2010 Rise in orders makes Wacker Neuson SE optimistic for 2010
Wacker Neuson SE has seen its Q1 revenue and earnings rise significantly on the same period last year. However, the harsh winter in its core region Europe had a negative impact on business. Order intake has nevertheless improved significantly, reflecting the current economic upswing. The Group has maintained its exceptional financial and asset position and confirmed its forecast for fiscal 2010.
