Pressemitteilung als PDF downloadenQuieter, more comfortable, more innovative: the new cabs convince way
with practical and user-friendly interiors

(Leonding, April 19, 2010) At Bauma 2010 the Wacker Neuson Group is keen to put its
innovative flair under the spotlight, and shows just what it can do with the cab interiors for its
50Z32, 60032, 75Z32, 80032 and 95032 models.

The new cabs come across as perfectly conceived for the safety- and comfort-conscious driver,
whether in terms of the front windscreen mechanism, ROPS-certification, joystick mounting,
pedals, doorways, instrumentation layout or storage and cab floor trim. The keyword here is
ergonomics.

Effective front windscreen mechanism
Practical and comfortable: thanks to the front windscreen mechanism - which can also be found
on the 1703 to 2404 and 14504 models - the driver is now able to slide both lower and upper
panes beneath the cab roof, and therefore protecting them from damage when the front screen
is wide open. With this function it´s no longer required to remove and stow the bottom
windscreen pane separately. This system also offers various opening versions, such as the
ventilation position or the dialogue position, where the lower pane is simply slid beneath the
upper windscreen section.

Revamping of the joystick mounting
The following features contribute to the optimal handling of the joystick mounting: the underlying
steel design guarantees considerably greater stability, and the accessibility to the pilot control
valve, along with the pilot control hose guides, is improved. An offset pivot point enables reduced
longitudinal movement of the hoses, also resulting an enhanced noise coverage. Switch units
and throttle have been integrated. Locking is separate and mechanical. Comfort: simplified
adjustment possibilities for the armrest along with improved ergonomics thanks to an angle
adaptation between joystick and armrest.

More compact yet roomier design
Great news for the driver, entering and exiting made easy with wide doorways, as well as extra
cab space for even more free movement. A further innovation: the new pedals for the functions:
"drive", "dozer blade" and "auxiliary hydraulics". The latter pedal earns extra points with the
foldaway function for greater security. The concept is rounded off by a new storage compartment
in the front part of the cab along with a new trim for the seat console, which is not only offering
integrated storage compartments but also improved soundproofing.
