Wacker Neuson expands its extensive range of high-performance pumps
(Munich, April 19, 2010) New, reliable high-performance submersible pumps
Wacker Neuson SE has added several new models to its range of electrical submersible
pumps. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of pumps to cover the varying
requirements of the construction, gardening/landscaping and related sectors. The latest
additions to the Wacker Neuson pump portfolio are every bit as robust and powerful as its
offerings to date.
High-performance submersible pumps
"The new PS-series electrical submersible pumps are designed to handle high flow volumes
and lifts, so they are the ideal solution whenever a building site has to be dewatered with ease,
speed and reliability," explains Robert Brauneis, utility product manager at Wacker Neuson.
These versatile pumps are engineered with a particular focus on safety. They feature thermal
overload protection, internal mechanical seals and oil lifters. Heat generated by overcurrent,
rotor blockage or dry-run conditions is detected immediately and the motor cuts out automatically.
In addition to the extremely powerful 1.5 kW AC pump with 2-inch pump outlet, the company has
now launched aluminum DC submersible pumps as a lightweight option for use in construction.
Broad portfolio to suit every need
Wacker Neuson has introduced a new subgroup of submersible pumps: the PSC series. These
pumps can reliably handle clear and trash water as well as waste water and liquid containing
fibrous particulate matter. Integrated cutting equipment breaks up larger pieces of solid matter.
"Our wide range of different motors and design concepts means we can offer the perfect fit for
every customer," continues Brauneis. "We advise each customer individually to find the best
solution." The entire Wacker Neuson portfolio includes pumps for differing degrees of
contamination with varying volumes and pumping water levels and electric or diesel/gasoline
engines.
