Wacker Neuson expands light equipment portfolio
Munich, January 19, 2010
New products align even more closely with customers’ needs and processes
Wacker Neuson SE is set to unveil numerous new products and product variants from its
light equipment portfolio at bauma 2010. As with all Wacker Neuson equipment, the innovative
new machines are geared toward the construction industry and will help companies in
construction, gardening, landscaping and related sectors to further optimize processes.
Vibratory plate delivers same power as 7t roller
The DPU 130 from Wacker Neuson is the world’s most powerful and modern vibratory plate. The
remote-controlled plate is pushing out the boundaries of vibratory plate performance by
delivering enough compaction performance to replace small and medium-size compaction
rollers weighing up to seven tons. The DPU 130 is also raising the bar in safety and user
friendliness for soil compaction jobs. In addition to delivering best-in-class performance, the
remote-control plate is designed for extreme flexibility and is significantly more maneuverable
than even large walk-behind vibratory plates. The infrared remote control ensures that operators
can work safely and are not affected by emissions or vibrations.
Electric breaker EH 25 delivers outstanding percussion rates
Wacker Neuson’s demolition field is launching an electric breaker developed for intensive use
over long periods of time. The EH 25 delivers impressive percussion power. Its percussion
system is designed for extremely low maintenance and minimum levels of wear and tear,
making it an extremely cost-efficient choice with high availability levels. The EH 25 is equipped
with Wacker Neuson’s proven hood spring mounting concept, a feature that has already been
used on breakers such as the BH 24 to give them their extremely high levels of user friendliness.
With a hand-arm vibration value below 5 m/s2, the device can be deployed for an entire
eight-hour working day by the same operator.
New series of vibratory plates with excellent ergonomics
In the field of soil and asphalt compaction, Wacker Neuson is also unveiling a new range of
WP-series vibratory plates weighing up to 105 kg. The plates were developed with operators and
their requirements in mind. Thanks to a specially formed base plate, the machines deliver
outstanding compaction performance along edges without damaging hot asphalt surfaces when
they are turned quickly. Their outstanding design makes the plates particularly easy and
comfortable to handle, helping operators make light work of all jobs.
A new generation of gasoline cut-off saws
Wacker Neuson’s proven cut-off saws are set to be replaced by a new generation of devices at
bauma 2010. The BTS 630 and BTS 635 are aimed at professional users looking for the highest
performance standards. The new air filter concept featured on these cut-off saws guarantees
long service life and significantly less downtime. The high-torque engine ensures impressive
cutting performance. The machines are also easy to operate and start reliably.
New submersible pumps extend broad pump range
Wacker Neuson is enhancing its extensive pump portfolio to include new submersible pumps.
The new electrical submersible pumps in the PS series are designed to handle high flow
volumes and lifts and are therefore especially well suited to rapid, easy dewatering. The new
subgroup in the PS series can reliably handle clear and trash water, as well as waste water and
liquid containing fibrous particulate matter. The machines feature integrated cutting equipment
that reliably break up fibrous particulate matter.
